Demand for housing

Demand for good quality affordable rented homes in Perth and Kinross far outstrips supply. Due to this and our determination to ensure that all of our homes are let we very seldom have any empty homes.

Demand for housing is highest in Perth Town Centre and in most of Highland and Eastern Perthshire.

Demand, and hence waiting time, for flatted accommodation in the outer areas of Perth is not quite so high but nevertheless it may be some time before we will be able to assist you.  You can however be assured that your application will be appraised solely on need and in accordance with the Common Allocations Policy.  No priority is given to the length of time applicants have waited on the Housing Register.
