How we let our homes

The demand for good quality, affordable homes in Perthshire is significantly greater than availability. As such, we allocate all of our rented homes on the basis of the housing needs of individual applicants. 

The Association is a member of a Common Housing Register and has a Common Allocations Policy with Perth and Kinross Council and Hillcrest Housing Association. This enables applicants to apply for housing with all three landlords using a single application form. The Common Allocations Policy explains that we operate a banding system as the fairest means of ensuring those most in need are given greatest priority.  This system takes account of all the relevant circumstances of the applicant.
