Location details:

The second phase of redevelopment work in Muirton will see 69 new homes built on a site in the northeast of the regeneration area, near Perth Grammar and St. Columba's secondary schools.

Many of these properties will overlook the new village green. A further small park will also be created and add to the 'green' space provided in the new estate.

Description/Special Features:

60 houses - including a mix of bungalows and town houses - and 9 flats will be provided for rent. These will be allocated to current Perth and Kinross Council tenants living in the Muirton area.

Upon completion, ownership of 11 houses and 2 flats will transfer to Fairfield Housing Co-operative.

A community flat will also be built. This will provide a local facility where small scale community activities can take place.
