Grit Bin Reminder

As temperatures begin to drop, it is important that roads and footpaths are gritted regularly to prevent some of the dangers posed by ice and snow.

If you live in a development where a caretaking service is provided, our caretakers will try to grit footpaths. However, as they only work a limited number of hours a week it is the responsibility of all residents to ensure paths are gritted and cleared of snow.

Grit boxes have been provided in common areas at most of our housing developments, and our caretakers will try to ensure these are kept filled with grit.

Where roads have been adopted by Perth and Kinross Council, they will be gritted by the Council in accordance with the schedule for doing so.
